| Swing your Left elbow forward towards 3 o'clock into your Right open hand | |
| Make sure the Elbow strikes the Hand rather than the Hand striking the Elbow | |

The Left elbow is bent to 90 degrees and the arms parallel to the floor |

| Do not twist the Left hip too far forward as this will disrupt the Kiba Dachi stance | |
| Quick partial breathe out and follow immediately onto the next move |
