Kihon (Basic) Kata is usually the first Shotokan Kata that students learn.   
It consists of one block, one attack (punch) and one stance
The Clock Explained 

Start the Kata from the rest / ready position

Feet Position on Diagram Facing Screen

 

Your feet should be shoulder width apart
Toes slightly turned in
Weight on the balls of your feet, not on your heels
It should feel as if your big toes are stopping you from falling forward
Arms should be relaxed and held in front of the body at a slightly forward angle
Breathing should be relaxed and regular
