| Turn your head slightly to the right towards the next attack coming at 45 degrees (10.30 clock position) | |
| Bring your Left arm forward and upward in the direction of the block, your hand in line with your forehead | |
| As you step forward, keep your Left arm straight, palm facing the floor. Keep your Right fist at your side just on your belt area. | |
| Push your Left hip forward - Right hip back | |
| Do not step in a straight line as this will make your stance very narrow - step out to the 12 o'clock position landing in a wide front stance, still facing 10.30 | |

| As your Right foot touches the finish position, bring with your Right fist quickly from your hip, diagonally across your chest to finish slightly above and about 6 inches infront of your forehead, palm facing away from you | |
| Make sure your front leg is bent with your knee over your toes, and your back leg is straight and locked | |
| Breathe out completely and tense all your body muscles for a brief moment on the completion of the move | |
