Kata Kihon

The opponent grabs your Left wrist

Break the grip by pulling your Left hand up towards your shoulder and striking down on to his wrist with your Right hand

 

Step backwards and to the side with your Left leg (into front stance - feet in the 7.30 clock position) , pulling him off balance by dragging his arm to your Left side with your Right hand.

Bring your Right forearm down onto his elbow joint as you pull your Right arm back to your Right hip, locking or breaking his arm

As you step forward bring your knee up into his lower ribs  - make sure the arm grip is maintained
Push forward and punch into his kidney / lower back area
Take hold of his Left arm again and pull him back towards you, then throw him down to the floor towards the 3 o'clock position
Pull your Right foot back to your Right hand side into front stance (4.30 clock position)

As his falls to the floor strike again onto his damaged Left arm or the back of his neck with the Gedan Barai strike
